No Sunday Mass in Kapistran on September 9
In solidarity and unity with the Catholic Church in Austria, the 11 a.m. Mass and the planned PGG 5th anniversary celebration on Sunday, September 9, are being cancelled..
Everyone is instead invited to attend the Eucharistic Celebration at 10 a.m. in the Stephansdom, whose main celebrant is Pope Benedict XVI. Thousands of Faithfuls are expected to attend this momentous event. Several huge television monitors will be installed just outside the St. Stephen’s Cathedral to give those outside the Dom a chance to watch and participate “live” in the event.
However, the 4:30 p.m. mass in Kagranerplatz and the 7:00 p.m. mass in Floridsdorf will take place as usual.
