First Quarter 2009 Charismatic Mass
One of the decisions concluded in the “Summit” Conference of the Philippinische Gottesdienst Gemeinde (PGG) is the holding of Charismatic Masses to be led by the different Charismatic organizations under its banner. The summit held last December 28, 2008 and attended by members of PGG Council, along with the Councils of the Loved Flock Community, the YES Catholic Charismatic Community, the Marriage Spirituality and the Couples for Christ – Foundation for Family and Life) .
The first one was celebrated last March 22 at 11 AM in the Kapistran Parish spearhead by the YES CCC. Two members of the YES CCC – Bro. Joel Olea and Sis. Herta Niedermayer – shared the congregation their conversion stories to the applause of the listeners. The YES Choir made sure that God touched peoples´ hearts through their songs. The whole celebration lasted two hours and since both body and soul must be healthy and cared for, Agape for the body was prepared by the YES CCC to augment the food for the soul received from the Eucharist.
The next Charismatic Mass would be celebrated on Pentecost Sunday, May 31 to be led by the Couples for Christ – Foundation for Family and Life. The third would be on Sunday, September 13 this time to be led by the Marriage Spirituality Vienna. The 4th and last would be on Sunday, November 29 to be led by the Loved Flock Community.
